Recall the olden days when we only had streaming platforms like YouTube and DailyMotion. We streamed a song or two, uploaded gaming videos in 240p resolution and daily vlogs. Fast forward to today, oh how things have changed. Now you have streaming platforms that are going toe to toe in competition with YouTube such as Twitch. That’s just the start of it.
You don’t have to resort to switching each channel on your TV set or wait for a movie release in the theaters when you can just stream it at the comfort of your home. However, not for free. There’s a price to pay to access these new streaming platforms but thankfully, it’s still pretty much affordable. You get Netflix, you have Hulu and even television networks like HBO have introduced their very own subscription-based streaming platforms. You still have the alternative of opting for TV Select Spectrum and not cut the cord as cable providers like Spectrum have introduced streaming options, as well. You’ve got a lot to choose from.
Now there are several of these streaming networks that find themselves amid strong competition. At times, you see Netflix taking the lead and some other times, HBO releases a killer original TV show and the internet goes gaga over it. During this competition streak, Disney also decided to join the race and brought forward its very own streaming platform – Disney+.
Launched in November, 2019 the platform sits with over 7,000 TV show episodes and over 500 movies. Now that’s a galore of Disney original content, acquired movies and a lot more. Disney+ is not here to disappoint and with the summer televisual season in full swing, we have compiled a listing of all the TV shows and movies that you can find on Disney this year so far!
